Letters & Emails

I know you may be a little wary of buying such expensive items as collectable wristwatches over the internet from a person you have never met. In an attempt to allay some of these fears I am setting out some letters & e-mails I have received from clients. Unfortunately I never thought about doing this page until now and I've lost most letters, but here is what I have; better late than never! If anyone wishes, I will be happy to provide the e-mail addresses.

The first is from a guy that bought a nice little NOS Wittnauer. He inquired about the watch around December 30, 1999. He wanted it for a Millinium gift, so I overnighted it to him.
"The watch was received the day before New Years, and Sarah absolutely _loves_ it! She has remarked several times about the high level of detail in the design, as well as the unique star-like quality of the individual digits on the display. The watch has been on her arm since then, and will be an item she will genuinely enjoy for many years to come.

I wanted to personally thank you for your concern, and your willingness to help make a special moment more memorable for the two of us. I appreciate your efforts and would highly recommend you to anyone who may ask."

I sold this man my almost MINT Pulsar II. I hated to see it go, but I needed the money and thought it would be better off with him.
"Dear Neil, Yes i have received the Pulsar. Its looks superb!! I am delighted with it! Unfortunately I had to pay £13.78 excess on the postage but thats O.K. Opening the box and seeing the watch more than made up for this. I will wear it but not for everyday use. Just special occasions. The watch I wear everyday is in fact a copy of a TAG Monaco, you know the one TAG re-issued.

I am in the Far East on business four times a year so I see lots of good fakes etc.

Please keep in touch, especially if you have any Hamilton watches to sell."

This man bought a nice date Pulsar from me that I only sold because I needed some money for my car! ('65 Barracuda, website here)
"Hello Neil, I received your package today and everything worked out. Thank you very much for your kind help.

The watch and all the parts are looking great and it will be a wonderful addition to my collection.

Thanks for a pleasant transaction and enjoy your car. "

This comment I stole from my guestbook. I had so many nice emails but I deleted them all! I was not thinking ahead!

July 2004, sold Geoff the Ladies Pulsar model 4406-2 shown in the Gallery, for his wife. The watch was most recently owned by my sister inlaw.
